Hard Work Pays Off...

Hubby worked very hard between his normal full time job and his "every now and then" job working to set up entertainment stuff(s). This time it was the AC/DC Black Ice Concert Tour held at Etihad Stadium here in Melbourne.
We were very very lucky to be able to receive tickets, not just for the two of us but to take Tomas as well. This was his very first major concert. Uncannily, AC/DC was my first ever concert too. I was 16 when I got to see them with my best friend.
Tomas was as awe struck as I had been all those years ago. Nothing beats a live performance does it? Well, AC/DC did not dissapoint us at all. My Grandmother would have said "Oh, not thosw twangers", that is if she were alive today. She did not like all that noise with the guitar. But, WOW, Angus sure blew us away with his twang-ability... an almost 30minute solo on the guitar!
The women in the audience did not dissapoint the band. When they played "The Jack" there were close ups on the big screen of girls on the shoulders of their men. When the girl realises she is on camera, one of two things happened. She would either wave and scream or whip up her top to bare her naked breasts...hahahaha, it was so funny!
On the whole the crowd were so very well behaved. Truly!

I had so forgotten about 'the jack'. I used to like ACDC. It astonishes me that some thirty plus years later, kids still like them.

Looks and sounds like you all had a great time, as if you couldn't with AC/DC !

oh bless his heart dear Mr Cazzie.
What a thrill.
O'Dyne referenced AC/DC a while back when posting about CLAPPING and it's evolution to an expression of approval, after it started out as a warning about cholera.
She left out that she saw AC/DC with dear Bon, at The Bondi Lifesaver 1977.
I hope Cazzie Jnr always treasures his memory of them too.

My "boys"...ages 50 and 49...still love to go to live concerts. They have a small, local band and are thrilled when they see the "real thing". Sounds like you had a great time.
