Always look on the bright side of life....

This is one of my favourite scenes from the movie "Life of Brian", what a marvelously funny flick..even if you didn't truly like it I bet you remember some of the words from it and even the lyrics to the song I have titled this post from. So many great flicks came out around this time...including Star Wars . Movie buffs will know they weren't released the same year but they all made big impacts on the population who follow them along.
Tell me , what is your favourite movie, be it comedy or otherwise?

2. Metropolis
3. Blues Brothers
4. Seven Days Under Mavis
5. Malcolm

I could go on and on, but the top five will do for debating at the moment.

Cazzie: Life of Brian is brilliant. In came out when I was at boarding school in England and one Sunday morning the chaplain stood up in church and told us how sinful the film was, how blasphemous, that we mustn't see it etc etc. Guess where half the school was that Sunday afternoon?

For old movies I go with anything Errol Flynn; Robin Hook, Sea Hawk, Captain Blood - I'm particularly fond of the swashbucklers.

More recent movies - Lonesome Dove, Tombstone, Big Chill, Creator, My Favorite Year.

Man, Jay's list is pretty good. 12 Angry Men was a GREAT movie.
