And the beat goes on.....

The beat goes on, the beat goes on.
Drums keep pounding a rhythm to the brain.
La de da de de, la de da de da.

Charleston was once the rage, uh huh. History has turned the page,
uh huh.
The miniskirt's the current thing, uh huh.
Tennybopper si our newborn king, uh huh.
And the beat goes on, the beat goes on.
Drums keep pounding a rhythm to the brain.
La de da de de, la de da de da.

The grocery store's the supermart, uh huh.
Little girls still break their hearts, uh huh.
And men still keep on marching off to war.
Electrically they keep a baseball score.
And the beat goes on, the beat goes on.
Drums keep pounding a rhythm to the brain.
La de da de de, la de da de da.

Well, yes, the beat does go on. Thanks to Sonny and Cher there.
I have just done my workout and I feel great. I managed to get rid of almost 2kg's in a week (just under 1lb) and the measurements of my calves and arms came down too. I am determined to look great and feel great, even as nice as the avatar I chose there :)
I am not so sure if it is necessarily the workout or the oggling I do of Bob there throughout the DVD that makes my heart rate rise. either way it is a great thing to be doing.
In other news my son is in a school performance on Wednesday and has to dress up rock and roll style. I cannot wait to take pics of it all.
On Saturday I get to take the day off work and go, as a family, to a Biodiesel Get together shindig kinda thing in town. Will blog of this when I get back on Saturday.

Update: Tom got out from school today and said that they had all watched one of Steve Irwin's Crocodile Hunter Episode's in class. They had a chance to speak about how they all felt inside and they also got to put pen to paper after recess to say how they felt. The teacher's are going to put the children's writings together as a book and send it on to Australia Zoo.

Ok, I'll ask for us slow readers out here, who's Bob?

Hi Cazzie,
You work out to a Bob the Builder video? 1,2,3,4,5. Everybody in the house, it's time to jive. Bob the builder and the gang, we're all here....

It is a god thing what the school is doing. I heard a childrens shrink on the radio today say that parents shouldn't lie to kids about what has happened, and let the kids express their emotions. For many people, the loss of Steve Irwin will be like lossing a family member.

Enjoy your weekend. Don't eat too much soup.

That's a cool thing the school is doing. He was so huge for so many kids that I'm sure they need a way to express their feelings about what happened. He's probably like a member of the family to them.

Hey, whatever motivates you to workout is good enough. Whether it's drive and desire to look and feel better or just wanting to see somebody else work out too.

I ride the stationary bike and watch the girls do yoga at my gym a couple of days a week. Gotta watch something right? haha

Jay, you are NOT a sick man...I don't think, LOL. I ride my exercise bike too, I can't call it a stationary one as people here may think I ride something we would buy at Office Works or something, LOL.

Cazzie: congrats on the work out and results! You are doing really well.

Such grim news about Steve Irwin, but I think what the school is doing is a very nice touch.
