We have eaten our very own lettuce, and our very own broccoli this week. I cannot wait for everything else to be ready to pick and serve too. The tomatoes are going to be lovely. I will be able to make some awesome salads. The kids will be able to go out with a basket and pick whatever we need for lunch or tea. No broccoli has tasted this good to me since I was a little girl. My Pop was the best vegetable gardener ever... until my husband came along and bet him haha :)
Last night I worked on the Renal Unit at work. It was so busy my legs are killing me today. I could not find my Rockport shoes prior to leaving for work, and so I wore other shoes that just do not quite measure up to my Rockports.
The kids and I cannot wait for the school holidays to roll on up. Taking them to the park, to Science Works, camping.... catching up with my cousin..cannot get here fast enough.

Oh Cazzie nothing better than home grown vegies! Good on you. We have tiny little pea buds on our pea plants that we're training up the side of the carport. Frost got a lot of the other stuff.
Have fun in the holidays, we're looking forward to our Melbourne trip will be just after your school hols.

Cazzie, I'm sure the patients liked you five inch high heels, but best you stick to the Rockports. R swears by Rockports and so I bought a pair, and ho hum. They are ok, but not as good as I thought they would be.

There are only 2 things that money can't buy - true love and home grown tomatoes.

I also cannot wait to eat fresh vegies from the garden again. We let ours go in winter this year, although I had a couple of stray tomato plants that kept producing which was nice. I currently have loads of herbs, some purple lettuce and spinach on the go. Not quite ready for eating yet though. Loads of seedlings popping up though! Yay!

will have to get some of those shoes - my eldest sister has worked in a brisbane Renal Unit for well over a decade now and she often talks about her sore feet - and other things she needs to get out - its pretty drastic for those undergoing Dialysis and for those who get to know them over the years
