Mia meets Santa!

Mia was not scared, she went straight up to Santa and spoke with him. Mia handed Santa a letter and he asked her what she wanted for Christmas. She said she wanted a bike lock so she could lock her bike up at school and then it won't get stolen like Tom's did. Santa handed her a chocolate and a calender to count down the nights until Christmas. Mia told him it wa my birthday yesterday..he said, "21 again Mum!" I loved him instantly... Oh I do believe in Santa :)
We then went to a coffee shop and had a baby-chino together..well, I had a cafe mocha... all the same, my little girl has grown up. I guess it won't be too many Christmas' away that she will believe in the man in red with the white beard and round belly :(

It's kind of sad when they stop believing in Santa. Some of the magic goes out of Christmas. But, it's still fun.

Aww how cute. I tell my nephews if they don't believe, they don't recieve. It's worked so far....or at least they're pretending hahaha.

If he isn't real then who's been guzzling the beer I've been leaving out all these years?!

What a sweet picture. She may surprise you and keep on
"believing in the big guy" for many years to come.

So lovely... you know Cazzie...although our girls knew about Santy...i still kept quietly putting things into a pillowcase at the end of their beds, till 2006 when they were 32 and 29 - that was the last christmas before don died...the next one melissa's husband was there so couldn't sneak in and deposit - it was stuff like undies or a silly thing...nothing big...they tell me they miss it and I miss doing it...but its a secret the partners don't know...one day i will do it again quietly...maybe this christmas...
