Had trouble with our home phone and internet, boy it is hard not to laugh when someone calls themselves "Jimmy" is dealing with the service problems and he comes from India..wtf? Is that his birth name or a ame they give you when you work for this telecommunication company?
Tom is doing a J Rock Eisteddfod performance with school and I cannot wait to see it all happen. Nick Sarah and Mia are all doing very well at school. I have been riding my bike and falling asleep early in the evening because my muscles are so tired..the blasted Winter wind..comes at us ata head on every turn, hehe..oh well, I will look great for my High School reunion right? At least Telstra do use local people in their call centres....so far as I know. Partly why they charge a lot more I suppose. So when is the re-union?

LOL! Optus I take it? I think I prefer the overseas centres over the rude Telstra staff anyday! (I never thought I would ever say that, but at least the overseas call centre people have some manners, even if they have no idea what we are talking about.)

The rock eisteddfod sounds exciting. Hope you have fun!

Telstra use foreign staff as well. This Indian woman used to phone me all the time in Western Australia and call me "Mrs Patreesha" obviously the print out stopped before it got to my surname. I ended up blowing a whistle into the phone as she wouldn't stop calling me even after I asked repeatedly. Telstra then claimed they did not use out of country staff. B*llsheet! ;)

I used to work in a call centre which, for some reason, had a much higher than usual proportion of Indians working there... (I've worked in a few call centres)... and there was one girl I worked with who's actual name was Priti, but she thought that was confusing for customers, so she always called herself Lucy Love! I didn't think that was much better. lol
