Philosophy..

'Throughout life there will always be storms and we must learn to come out and play in the rain'
A friend sent this to me in an email..and I think there is alot to be learned from this..don't you?

Oh, and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to everyone... that includes people who have no kids but have puppies or other animals they consider are like kids :)
I woke to breakfast in bed, and lots of nice home made cards and gifts from the kids. Nice hey :)

Enjoy :)

I've spent lots of time playing in the rain... there's nothing quite as refreshing. But for me it may be time to row to shore and put the boat away...

LOL! Breakfast in bed? Whats that? I was served up with a nice cup of coffee, and then vegemite on toast which dh promptly stole! LOL! Have to admit Im not much of a brekkie girl, like to wake up first, but dh takes the cake, as soon as his eyes flutter he is hungry! Too funny!

dd3 gave me a lovely "lilly" indoor plant, took all of my control not to laugh! (death plant you know!) Finally caved and told her what the pretty plant was she bought me this arvo and the poor kid nearly died herself! LOL! Never fear, it will take pride of place in our lounge room always! God I LOVE my kids!!!! Z bought me a card which he failed to sign and asked me....."Mum! What did you do with that card I gotcha?" He totally could not fathom why he was supposed to write in it! LOL! My kids love me so much! Yes they do!!!!

I go out to play in storms because the heightened nitrogen levels are enervating.
I play with B.B.King and we sing -

They called it stormy monday, but tuesday is just as bad
Oh, they called it, they called it stormy monday,
But tuesday, tuesday is just as bad
Oh, wednesday is worst and thursday oh so sad

The eagle flies on friday now, saturday Ill go out to play
Oh, the eagle, the eagle flies on friday saturday Ill go out and play
Sunday Ill go to church, and I fall on my knees and pray

I say, lord have mercy, lord have mercy on me
But lord, lord have mercy lord have mercy on me
You know Im crazy bout my baby
Lord, please send him back home to me
