Sorry guys, I have been working night shift the last 3 nights. I just woke up and it is after 4pm! Time for a cuppa.
I had my flu injection 2 nights ago and well, my arm hurts, waaaa, I am a big sook :) The needle itself did not hurt, it was the after effect.
I can safely say that my night shifts were not boring at all. Let's leave it at that!

I used to works nights. I liked the hospital at night. It was a different world. The hours were hard for me and my family though.

Mom, I have to agree with you, the hospital is certainly a different World at night, for staff and for patients. As a patient, it seemed to go forever. As a nurse, time can fly when you are desperately busy.
Mal, I will have caught up on time by Tuesday, usually.
Brave Girl Caz re the jab...Don and I never had one...and he never in 25 years got flu...being a Quad he couldn't even afford the slight dose of flu you sometimes get after the jab, he couldn't cough at all...other Quads we know don't have it for the same reason...we just told people with colds and flu to bugger off...in polite terms... took heaps of Vit c and kept away from big crownds...you can't avoid it in your job though.
