Yes, it has begun to look alot like Christmas...... everywhere I look. Then there is the Christmas music in the stores... I don't like some of the songs, they are sung so terribly some times.
I cannot wait, however, for the carollers to sing at work. They stand at the bottom of the stair well of the hospital and sing..sometimes with a quartet..and the sound is majestic, floating all the 9 floors up...sounds like angels singing :)
Hubby may take the kids to see the Myer Christmas Windows tomorrow while I work.. I hope so, the children do love it.
There are so many things on, almost every day until New Years Day.... one day at a time I will take it :)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS...
I am so over the christmas stuff and it is just getting in gear so to speak. I wish Jesus had been born on Leap Year for goodness sake!
I'm just not ready for it to be Christmas. I will have to ease into the spirit. The stores are all certainly ready for me to come spend my money.
I love the singing but as said if its halfway decent. I remember one time when Don's mum was with us at christmas, our daughter and a cousin sat on the floor and sang right through a carol book. It was lovely - they just did it for themselves, and they could bot sing well. From the TV room was don's mum asking them to be quiet so she could listen to the carols on TV...bloody hell......we quietly told them to keep singing, but not so close to her ok!
I was at Spotlight yesterday (buying 7 meters of cotton material... but don't tell anyone! especially when i got home, cracked-out the sewing machine, and started hemming it all! rofl).
Anyways... the muzak was really bad Xmas carols sung tunelessly by young children... not cute or melodic, but rather painful. working there and listening to that all day would drive me batty!!!
