Winter activities...

Too cold to play outside...why not use all the blankets in the house to make a cubby house?
Time to play some table tennis.....
Mia uses the skipping rope for the first time..and jumps right through it first go!! Woohoo, what fun!

Isn't Mia the image of her mother! Are you counting down to when the holidays finish?

Thanks for the memories of jumping rope. Virtually free, or cheap, entertain for a long time, stimulate the imagination with poetry. I'm 66 and have forgotten the jingles, but you know what I mean.

Mine were allowed to build a tent out of the play room and blankets (wall to wall)on a really bad snow day in Dayton! Winter Memories!

oooh cubby houses are way fun! Dinoboy built a teepee in the backyard the other day! Made from the branches of a palm tree! He was so proud of himself!

Skipping is lots of fun too, my boys don't seem to go for it though! Sigh! Hooray for little girls!
