Catching Up....

Today my friend and I rode our bicycles three times and well, I know I will sleep well tonight! Really though, I feel great.
Stace asked if it had rained at all, it had not rained..until now! I just ran outside and grabbed all the washing off of the line..now to fold it all!

Ok, as everyone probably knows, something has happened with Starbucks coffee shops and well, today I was having a cafe'mocha..without cream! and the girls there were told they would not have a job from tomorrow..very sad. I do like their cafe' mocha, but I like the girls and their service. My little girls have always loved their babycinos there..with my cream from my cafe'mocha on top of their babycinos. The girls loved speaking to the baristas asking how they make coffee and why they use the steam and all that. I am sorry for them, but it just shows how fickle business can be. I am glad I am a nurse, we are always needed.
Anyway, time to go.

It's a real shame to see such a high-profile business like that go belly-up. And a huge negative for those employees as well. Day-um! Not that I actually drink coffee myself, but...

I am not a fan of Starbucks, but sad for the staff. But there are plenty of similar jobs around. Do I recall an episode of The Jetsons where a nurse was a robot? Imagine having a robot insert a cath, haha.

Yeah, it's sad that the people who work in the stores are going to bear the brunt of all the crummy decisions made by upper management at Starbucks.

Starbucks has apparently overextended themselves. I guess it was the caffeine high getting them overexcited or something.

Here in the U.S.of A., if your favorite Starbucks closes, you can usually just nip across the street to the other one. Of course, this is probably why they are in trouble. Too many Starbucks, too expensive in this economy.

Jay, yes, I think that certainly was the problem, shame really.

Steve, yeah, lol, you made me laugh right there.

Betty, I think you hit the 8 ball into the right pocket, they are expensive, the reason I had not stopped in in a long time. My cafe mocca, justa tall (small) serving was $4.45. It was just fun to go there with my girls, they felt special with their babycino.

Keshi, well, you just come on here and I will make you a special brew with my DeLonghi coffee machine :)

That is such a shame. I love that shop and I really don't know what I would do without it. Although, I must admit that there is a close second in our area...Dunkin Donuts. Still...its not Starbies.

Hopefully you will find another shop to get your cafe mochas!

Letsope a good Australian coffee shop opens up in every old starbuck shop and employs all those who got the flick -in an ideal world!!!
