The party..

Sarah's party was a hoot, she had the best time ever with her little friends. They played pass the parcel, followed by a fun game my friend's family play at parties. It involves the cutting of chocolate with a knife and fork (a butter knife of course) and a roll of dice to get to a number already pre agreed on by all the players. First you roll the dice, if you get the number agreed on, say it is four, you roll a four, You then have to donn a hat, scarf or jacket and begin cutting at the family sized block of chocolate, one block at a time. While you are cutting, everyone continues to take turns rolling the dice until number 4 is rolled. Then, the person cutting has to stop and the next person has to take the clothes, put them on and begin cutting...and so on. It was fun and was also fiercely competitive, of course we were all laughing the whole time. The girls were all winners really, they got lots of chocolate!

Next they got to destroy the piniata. It had rings, lollies, hair clips and more lollies in it... everyone had a go at bashing it with the wooden spoon. We all laughed lots!!

Her gifts were lovely. Sarah received clothes, toys and art and craft stuff. Not forgetting books too. We got her a Snugglepot and Cuddlepie book, vintage too.
We have all had fun helping Sarah paint and play today...time for a quiet night and an early tuck-up in bed methinks :)
