Boo Hoo..

Shoulders really do hurt, they are even a pain in the butt. I have gone to the physio a few times this week and have had problems with pains down my arm from the shoulder and the neck. It can also make you feel ill. A nice hot pack on the shoulder is what I went to bed with last night. Tonight I might have to have a drink before bed...any tips?

The kids had a day off school this week due to the teachers going on strike..they want a pay rise ..and well, they blooy well deserve one. Just like us nurses, we are paid much much less in this state per year than our colleagues interstate..in fact, 10 grand less a year to be almost exact. Almost exact..is that right? Hmm..moving along..... well, the day of the strike only Mia went to school. That was hard yakka getting her there when the other 3 didn't have to go.

Sorry Day here went down a treat....our new PM made alot of people happy and alot of people mad too..oh well, you can't please everyone hey? Let's hope everyone just moves on, deals with it and has a good life....life is what you make it.

Don't have too much to drink Cazzie. You don't want to sleep too soundly in a bad position for your shoulder.

How come the people who taught me and the people who look after my health are paid so much less than the person who looks after my money? Well, if I had any.

Teachers, nurses and cops should all have pay rises. Also, I was so proud to be an Aussie today, for the first time in forever!!

you know I would love to see parents and patients striking alongside teachers and nurses because we all know that people who go into these professions are helping those people. Better conditions = better time for the people we are supposed to help. Nurses work damn hard cazzie, as you well know and everyone groans when they (and teachers) strike. If it was such an easy job then THEY'D be doing it! Yeah right.

Amaretto sour is my fav bedtime drink, unless I have a good red wine sitting around. Hope your shoulders feel better soon, should you try a new pillow?

What in the world is Sorry Day?
Teachers and nurses are underpaid around the world.
Hope the shoulder is getting better.

I hope you feel better....nursing and motherhood take quite a toll on the body. Salaries? Nursing and teachers underpaid? Yup...by millions. What galls me are the salaries given to drug using unschooled pro athletes in the USA.

Have you thought about going to a good (ask about) Osteopath? They work wonders... may take about 2 3 visits but they are much better than Chiropracters and you might be amazed at how they can ease pain and also I have found they help with breathing, like when your chest feels tight...
