My thoughts...

"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

Something I say I live by, something I need to remember, something I need to tattoo on my forehead perhaps....

I will never apologise for being me, nor will I apologise for someone else being them... especially when the things we do, and the way we live, harm nobodeeee.

Shit, I wish my nanna was here right now...I miss her...and Frances. I miss her too, they would understand, they would have the right words.

That is so true Cazzie. Those who matter don't mind one bit the way we are, we have their unconditional acceptance just as they have ours. It's a measure of my real friends. Well put :).

A-greed! You go on being you because you're right. Those that won't like the real you don't matter anyway.

If you can't be true to yourself, you really can't be true to anyone else. It's a true gift to find those that love and accept you no matter what you say or do. Any you are right, those are the ones that really matter.

WYSIWYG = I think that should be my motto = What you see, is what you get... take it or leave it.

I am so sorry to hear about your friend passing. I too lost my best friend in May of 2005 but to a SAH. She died on the spot and I mourn her each and every day.

Thanks for the memory. China Beach was one of my favorite shows. In fact, I wish one of the networks would show it again.

Are you ok?
Maybe you just wouldnt need the word if they were there?

Take care

Chickybabe, thankyou for your kind words.

Shlaaaahh, thankyou and welcome. Reading these comments makes me feel like I am not alone. Now I might sleep better tonight.

Susan, yes, mostly it is friends, not immediate family who are the ones that matter.

QOD, you make me laugh, I needed that..yeah, it is Aussie...and so it "Äre you orright mate!" LOL.

Farmwife, I love that so much :)

Poody, subarach's are awful, I dunno weather it is better to drop on the spot or watch someone suffer for a long time and have alot of time to say goodbye, and then, all of a sudden they are gone.

Betty, mine too, I heart Dana Delaney and all the cast of that show. I miss it.

Aidan, thanks for the words, I think you are right, if they were there as I thought they were before, or as I thought they were before, I would not need to even come up with such a phrase to remember.
Love to you and lovely Stace :)

Inspiring thoughts, Cazzie.

And I agree with you and Chicky. Those we accept and who accept us, even in the most difficult of times... are our real friends, and there is perhaps nothing more important in life than friendships like those.

I lost my Gramma when I was 14 years old, and I still think of her each and every day. Holy Schnikies! That was 29 years ago. Man I'm old.

Always keep the spirit of your friends and family in your heart, Cazzie!
