A sample of some Christmas art...

These are just a few of the decorations we made today.
Here are Mia and Sarah ever so proud of their accomplishements today. When Tom and Nick got home we had to go throguh it all again maing a batch of Salt Dough and then cooking it, waiting for it to cool so they could decorate them.
There you have it. Now to find some fishing line to hang them when they are dry..of course not until the 1st December :)

Wonderful treasures - both the kids and the decorations!

(Should I warn you that in years to come the kids will protest when you put their hand made items on the tree and ask why they cant have COOL trees like the ones at the MALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

The girls are darling. Did you use the trick of embedding a paper clip in the dough with just a small end exposed for hanging?

Lucy, Santa comes when kids are asleep the night of the 25th December, then he leaves gifts for good girls and boys so when they awaken 25th december they get a surprise :)

JAy, we sure did, even the big kids :)

Rebecca, your lovely teeth would break if you ate these ones :)

Steph, you make me LOL :)

Lantern, the bus is at a stand still :( Hubby been working 9days on and a few off and then I work. Maintaining that work cannot be done on it whilt I am not here coz the kids trash the place while no one is looking :( I am hoping work will resume as I wanna go away in it next year!!! I am looking forward to sewing the material things for it myself.

Huggies, yes, they usualy do have smiles, just not when their Ma-Becca leaves them to go out :)

Melly, I know it, I dread it..my nanna copped this from us and now she passed away some of the decorations were given to me from when I was a kid from my PA..now I love them all over again :)

Ginnie, thanks for visiting again love ") No, we didnt do the paper clip thing because these babies are bakes in the microwave oven, not the regular overn, but it is surely a great idea :) We just used a chop stick to put a hole in the ornament and thread a red string through it :)

Middle Child, thanks :)

Keshi, yes it is magaical, until you hit the mall and see the mayhem!! Boy wizz, I am pooped from last nights shopping :)

Mia and Sarah are beautiful girls! This is how future artists are born; by allowing them the freedom to express their creativity. I envy having girls to pass these things on to, but I may have a chance with granddaughters hopefully, as I have 2 sons at least! Enjoy!

Very cool! These are the best to keep and remember. Making ornaments and memories at the same time.
