Werribee Zoo

Here is a pic of three of our kiddies at the Werribee Open Range Zoo. They loved it. Mia keeps on speaking of it and today at our local shopping centre, they had one of the ute's that is painted Zebra- Like in the centre court there. It was just advertising the fact that we have something special in our very own backyard and people should get along and see the place.
I cannot wait for Summer to get here. They have the Rhythms of Africa nights there at the Open Range Zoo, will have to take the kids along to it..oh, and I won't forget the mortein :)
Guess the caption above Mia's head...I bet she is saying to Sarah, "I want one of those cats for Christmas!"

Is it expensive?

I'm wondering what the young boy is thinking.

I love zoos. If I lived a place that had a cool zoo I would be there a lot. I love the big cats the most.

That Rhythms of Africa will be cool.

Such cute children. I'll bet they're already ready to go back to the zoo.

Rebecca, I believe every word you say!

Lantern, I bet it is, yet, I DO have a money tree :)

Huggies, We never truly know what is in Nick's mind...he is so smart, he was probably inventing something magnificent in his mind :)

Jay, yes, we go there quite a bit. Especialy the mansion adjacent to it. They have fares and Christmas Carols there and the Easter Egg Hunt aswell. All great fun.

Betty, they sure are love, Christmas is around the corner and we shall go there for the Africa theme :)

The open range zoo sounds wonderful. It took me a minute to grasp what it really was. Here all the animals are behind bars - very sad. We had a Drums of Africa group come to our schools a few years back and they were great. Very good for the kiddos to experience. Once again...your children are beautiful.

Willi, yes you are right lovey, the open range zoo is just that..open range. You go on this space age tour bus for a 50 minute tour to see the animals in their natural habitat.
