Rye Holiday...

Rye Beach.

Sarah having a fun time at the beach, trying NOT to look cold..but alas she was :) The cold breeze not helping one iota.

Mia in a mongst the flowers that are scattered around the beach front everywhere.

I took the kids to the Drive In Cinemas at Dromana, we saw Barnyard..it was a great flick. We went to the park everyday and walked alot too. The fresh air was refreshing..ha! What a sentence. We light the wood fire each night and toasted marshmallows on one of them.
This weekend I have had a sore back, nope, not shaggers back people!! Anyhow, I haven't worked but we did go to a BBQ at my mum's place for Grandfinal Day, it was good to see the kids playing and getting along..the adults having a few tinnies and all too.

Hello,
I'm visiting from gawilli's blog. I've enjoyed reading your stuff and err...shaggers back? I have never heard that before. That really made me laugh.

Glad you liked that term todemesne....I hadn't used it in a while..and that was the first time ever on my blog! I had a patient tell me she was presenting to the ER to see us due to "shagger's back", I LOL with her...the Canadian doctor that was on at the time was like.."Hang on...what is shaggers back? I haven't ever heard of that back problem".... Aussie slang I reckon.

Dr Evil, I used to be a bogan man...acca-dacca tshirt and mini skirt to boot!! LOL

Huggies, yep, had a good week mate.

Jay Man, you are correct there, the beach is awesome. Even if it is winter the kids still love it, and they ALWAYS get in no matter the weather. I reckon they'd be just fine living in Russia :)

I bet you got the shaggers back from lifting a few too many slabs of tinnies into the back of the ute for the Rye B&S ball.

Just remember Girly, you may be going out to have a bit of fun tonight, but there are still cows to milk, and sheep to dip in the morning.

Darn it, and here I was trying to zone out and be as one, sound of one hand clapping and all, then you remind me of all I gotta do! You forgot to mention the probablility of helping the cow if she comes into calf! Better get me elbow length gloves and a rope ready!

Oh yeah, and the local show is coming up too. SO you better pull your finger out and get Daisy ready for presentation. Otherwise it will be pork chops for dinner for the next month for you.
These bloody flies! Where's the rain Ma? Looks like the roos have got into the top paddock, there goes another crop. It's too bloody hot, too bloody cold, dang that bank manager.

PMSL Rebecca!! Roo meat for tea then? Minus the lead shot?

And what's with those bloody hobby farmers next door? How the hell can you plough a field in a volvo? Damn city folk. Farming is a 7 day a week job, except for Saturday afteroons, when it is time to head down to the footy club and man the BBQ for the boys.
