Happenings...

Our friend Anna ventured down Melbourne to visit us from Sydney this past weekend. After I had worked Saturday morning I got home to find a house full of excited people, the webber fire going, in readyness for the lamb roast to go on. It was great to catch up with a friend we love.
We stayed up until way past my bed time, LOL...I had been up since 5am...yet, come to think of it..so had Anna, as she caught the early flight from Sydney.
We played a game of soccer....actually, we played quite a few games of it ..much more fun after having a couple of drinks too :)
Next day we went to see the Picasso Exhibition. We had some lunch along the Southbank Promenade and headed for home. It was a great day, the sun actually came out from behind the clouds which was really nice.
The pics above are of us all saying seeya at the airport....Sarah was the worst affected, she misses Anna alot already! She has since sent Anna a cute e-card from her My Little Pony site.
After school was out yesterday.me in my car alone (a rarity of course) and Andrew and the kids in the other city bus. It was great to see the driving skills of Andrew.
Today I had a short granny nap..the girls did too. I feel a little better now..as I have also been reading my book, "The Power of Now", by Eckhardt Tolle. I need to revitalise myself for I have been feeling like I am loosing control with my "self". I am on the right path now, I have began a diet to make myself feel better..it entails eating lovely soup she made and brought around for me last night. It also entails Andrew fixing my exercise bike the kids killed a while back...I shall be careful..of course I will wear my stack hat when riding it..never know just when an accident could happen.

Hi Cazzie,
Yes it was a little weird driving something that a) didn't have an overhead power supply, and b) had more than two wheels.

Glad you are liking the soup, I have another six litres of it here to go. I think my next soup will be a Ham and Pear soup.
For those interested, it is basically, ham, pears, chilli, and a little bit of dark cooking chocolate. There are a few other special little goodies which go into it, but I don't want to give the game away yet.

I will return your whipped cream soon.

That's good, cause while those excersize bikes are pretty good on the straighaway, they don't corner worth a flip! LOL

WTF is the matter with you people? Not enough lizards and crocodiles to eat, for fuck's sake???
