Follyfoot and cork stiletto's...

This is a better picture of Steve and Dora, the two characters in the series Follyfoot. Note her oh so 70's hair cut called the Babydoll? I have had this cut before and I am wondering when it may come back into fashion, like everything else does..should have kept some of my mum's 70's jargon instead of returning it, I would be classed as trendy then. This is important when you have young kids like I do..they like their mum to be trendy...or else park the car around the corner of the school and they will meet me at the car, LOL. Nah, that was me speaking to my mum!!

Yeah, my mum had them cork shoes going on..the 6 inch stiletto ones, real cork unlike the fake ones of today. I have to say ..I do need help in the verticaly challenged department :)

I concur, Huggies. That's one lucky horse.

I had a pair of those in the 70s only because my grandfather was a cobbler.

I don't need ANY help in the height dept, I am tall enough now...

Mr Huggies...You would have to watch the show sometime to find out
Stew.the horse gets lucky..yes indeed..and she has a foal they name Folly..hence the name Follyfoot Farm, LOL.
Big Mama...you are lucky on two accounts there...I guess we all wish we were something we aint..and I wish I was a little taller :)

I wish my mum had kept all her shoes. I do love me a fine pair of proper cork heels. I do believe you can buy the genuine cork, but you'll pay through the nose for them.

Speaking of paying through the nose for shoes. I went to price a pair of boots today, and given the size of my clod hopper, I am up for at least $650, to just get a basic pair made.
Not Happy Jan, or anyone for that matter.
