Hollidays for everything...

I heard it on the news...lots of people taking advantage of the eve of Good Friday..let's call it Good "Thursday" Night to go live it up on the town. Lots of drinking and partying and so on. The dudes who mentioned it are on the breakfast programme on the radio. On their travels into work at 4:30am, they had sited loads of young'uns still partying.
I say good on them, live it up, paint the town red (or pink if they like!). Us Aussies seem to turn our holliday breaks into extra days off and any break is considered an unspoken..it's party time attitude. My boys' school is having and extra day off this Tuesday, they just had their hollidays a few weeks ago and now they turned Easter break into a longer one. They seem to have more hollidays than we did when we were kids, hollidays for everything.
As you can see from my story here, I did wake early enough to hear the breakfast programme this morning. 5a.m. was the time. I covered my girls up so they stayed warm..and ASLEEP!! Then I continued to lay there awake until Andrew said, "I am going to the workshop early today to get the job done on the Tarago". We are selling it because we got a station wagon and our friends are mad enough to be having their 4th baby so they will be buying it from us once it is all repaired. So, I got to starfish in bed and fall back to sleep until little MIss 3yr old says, "Mum...I'm awake, it's me, Mia". Great!! I put the Lion King on for her and went back to bed. Got half an hour sleep after that til Little Miss 4yr old comes in,"Mum, hello Mum, where's Dad?" So here I am blogging after making the rugrats breakfast and now theyre running around ignoring Lion King and playing tag in the house.
Think I may take them out to the park when the Sun decides to rise well and truly.
Oh, Enjoy Hot Cross buns, I intend to have some for breakfast. :)
Cheers, Cazzie!!!

Hi Cazzie,
I intended to have Hot Cross Buns, dripping with butter, and a side serving of Easter Eggs for breakfast today, but ended up doing overtime, so I missed the supermarket by 2 minutes last night.
Sure a lot of people will say it is on Sunday you do these things, but I have always done Easter on the Friday, while enjoying the Good Friday Appeal.

Hi Cazzie,
