Worjking afternoon shift today, did so two dayxs ago as well. The traffic drives me nuts! I love nights because the traffic is not so bad.. can't wait for next week when I will be on nights again :)
Recently, I can't drive. Before younger son was born, everyday I drove. But now I don't want to drive by myself . I always walk or train. I forgot to drive...
Lucy, I think it is probably safer not to drive if you can get away with it. I would love to live closer to work where I could ride my bike :)
Ginnie, Yes, it sure is a comfort zone kind of thing. I did manage to catch up with many of the day staff, including the clerical, cleaning, shop/cafeteria staff that I have known for many years, and who thought I had fallen off of the face of the Earth, lol xoxo

I have a few friends who are nurses and they both prefer to work nights. Hope you'll be back to your "comfort zone" soon.
