This is my Pa at Christmas time last year. He will be 86 this year and he is still going strong. He just returned from a trip to Tasmania. He just informed me on the telephone that he has women writing their name and number down and slipping it to him. He was laughing. I know he is telling the truth because he is such a smooth cat!Before we leave each other on the phone he always sings "I feel good" by James Brown... and yeah, that is what keeps him going.
He looks fit for 86. May he last a long time.

ReplyDeleteAndrew, I think he will last a long time because he keeps fit and busy. His Parents and Grandparents lived until their 90's :)
ReplyDeleteROsemary... yeah, it does not surprise me as he has always been a swooner. He dresses lovely, and takes note especially of shoes to wear. He smells devine too.

You know you are sooo lucky...Sometimes i used to imagine how my life and dad's would have been had he lived...I was 15 when he was killed...and I see old couples walking close and I wonder - you have a treasure...and tell me does keep the numbers written down on paper???
