Lots to do.

School vacation time is always busy. I worked Sat and Sun after Tom's Friday night performance. The performance was so awesome! We had a great time of it. Results will be known at the start of term 4 back at school. We got to watch the High Schools Perform after Tom's school finished.
My favourite High School Performance was, by far, that of Fairhills High School. Their production was just so amazing. It left me with my jaw dropped, and the whole way through their time on stage I was saying "Oh my God" and "This is un real!".
It was so professional, so vibrant, and it captures you, draws you into the theme and takes you to another place. Just what we all want, and what we seek when we go to a professional show. Yet these were all just High School kids..amazing stuff! Added to that, Fairhills is a public High School, just as my children's school is a public Primary School, so yayyy to the hard working public school kids, mums, dads and wonderful teachers who make these things happen.
Today I took the kids to the beach. By the time we got there the 21 degree day turned into a 15 degree day with lots of cold wind. Ouch, ice cream headache!
We did have a great time none the less. I took a few pictures with my mobile phone. We found some nice shells and some jelly fishes( which I prepared for if the kids swam. I put vinegar in the car in case of stings).
When we got home I cooked some pancakes and I got the washing off just in time before a little bit if rain hit our area.
I am ready for bed and it is only 5pm :(

Hang on! Are you on holidays already? I get confused with it all but you are usually a week ahead of us I think? LOL! I told the kids we were not having holidays as we have not done enough work lately due to mama being unwell. But then I piped up tonight and said "Oh I think we will have a week off school to fix up the vegie garden (which is sorely neglected) CG laughed and said "Hey thats agriculture!" LOL!

You must be so proud! I would have loved to have come along and seen the performance! Did you tape it? I have always been a fan of the rock eisteddfods but always seem to miss the tv bit! Grrrr! Kids are so amazing!

Wow Cazzie, amazing what kids can do, no matter what type of school they go to.

I heard that Vic are way ahead of us for school hols, for this term at least.

And Karisma, vegie gardening is SO educational, how can it not be? Self sufficiency.

I'm always amazed at how very talented kids can be on stage.

I love that you are prepared like me.

I take Bach Flower Rescue Remedy, Arnica, and anything else I know I may need on a trip. We also have to take adrenalin and ventolin so it's all go when the Nathans take a car trip. LOL
