14 Year Wedding Anniversary..

The 23rd September marks the 14th year of marriage for husband and I. That day was a very wet and rainy one. It did not matter, we smiled the whole day long. I felt like the Barbie doll at the end of Toy Story 1 where she is saying "Can I stop smiling now? OKAY..yeah... oh my cheeks hurt!" Haha.

Apart from the rain, the day went off without a hitch. The girls and I even made it to the Werribee Mansion Chapel before time! I had safety on my mind. As it was drizzling, I worried the hot rod I was going to the wedding in would slide on the wet roads.
Arriving early gave the girls and I time to practice our walk.

The cello and the flute played Pachelbel, Cannon in D Major as the girls and I walked down the aisle. It was so nice to see all our close friends there at our wedding. My husband to be looked...edible! Yum yum! Haha. Moving right along....
Lots of photos and lots of laughs later, we sat to eat some lovely food. The music we had played at the reception was so cool. When someone wanted to see me they had to hit the dance floor to do so..because I was not going to sit down! I think I had Finally played about 5 times o perhaps more.

We danced to A Groovy Kind Of Love by Phil Collins. I think about that time whenever I hear it on the radio.

Happy 14 years to us!

oh the photos are wonderful - you lucky thing to have such a great day.

The song Hot Andrew, is
heavily based on the Rondo movement of Sonatina in G major, op. 36 no. 5 by Muzio Clementi, and was written in 1965 by Toni Wine and Carole Bayer Sager, and was a hit for Wayne Fontana in the UK, and Sonny & Cher, and Neil Diamond did it in 1993 ...

Thankyou very much everyone, we loved our wedding day and we enjoy celebrating it with our children now. Sarah has asked if we could have another wedding some day. I said that would be a great idea :)

Hey Cazzie, nothing wrong with renewing the vows with your kids! I didn't have the wedding I truly wanted and I have always wanted to redo it. What fun to have the kids there. Luckily I got the husband I truly wanted and that's what counts.
