Days off..

So good those three night shifts are over. It is difficult to sleep when it is school holliday time. As you know, when I work nights I must sleep during the day. I don't mind it when the kids are at school, the house is silent. Hey, I know they can't help being kinds, and having fun on their days off right.
Hubby took them with him to fix he caravan up for our holliday and also do some work on the Pathfinder. We are putting a lift kit in it. AKA: springs..the vehicle will have more clearanc, so we won't get bogged, lol.
I will check back later on and add to this post. :)

Hey don't apologise for the need for sleep during night shift days! You nurses are like gold, where would we be without you? I was going to make a joke about duct tape but then again.....no..LOL
Have fun during the holidays if you can!

Sleep is important like breathing and water (eating is optional according to a certain Mr Jackson but look where that got him...) :P

I used to love working night, but I could never sleep well during the day. Glad to be retired now and sleep when I want.

I was so lucky during the 26 years that I worked in the ER...I never had to work the night shift. I'll bet you're getting excited about your upcoming vacation !

Foxy, believe me, I have done it to quite a number of people who know I am on night shift, know not to call, yet insist on doing it without apology. It soon puts a stop to the calls, haha. Also, I put a sign on the front door "Do not disturb". It seems to clear off the hawkers you know!
