Proud Mum Again...

Mia got called up front of assembly today and had to stand next to the persistence key..which means she has been persistently trying her best in class this term yayyy Mia!
Tomas got to stand up next to his mates too, he cam fourth in his age group at the Athletics Day last week. Awesome job Tom... he had to get up front in assembly too.
Sarah went up another level in reading, she is really beginning to comprehend just what she is reading now, woot woo!!
Nicholas is also doing very well, never really have to worry about Nick, yet I do make sure I encourage and praise him just as I do for the others. The bullies have been sorted out at school. They have not started on Nick again... thank God!
Today it was too windy to ride our bikes, so my friend and I walked approximately 15kms, which was difficult in the swirling wind..yet we did it, and I am now ready for sleep..it is only 5pm!
I kicked my feet up through the abundant Autumn leaves on the ground. They crunch, crunch crunched! I also grabbed a few plant cuttings for the garden... some lavender this time :)

15kms Cazzie? That is a serious distance. You must be pretty fit.

Stace, thanks hon. I work hard with the kids and encourage them to learn and have fun doing it. Tonight Nick and I read an awesome chapter book together, took turns reading one after another. It was an up lifting book too, so we were tired and pleased in the end.

Andrew, yeah, I reckon I am fit. Have been doing this riding / walking thing for a year now, and even if I am not as slim as some, I know I am fitter than some slim people... oh, I am muttering now, but you would get my drift? :)

When your kids always do well, it's easy to take it for granted. Good for you, always encouraging them.
