I know the kids are growing up when..

I am ill and they can feed themselves and entertain each other as I nap in and out of it on the couch...
Sarah and Mia have all the pillows and every doona from every room around the dining table. They have made a Secret Hut. Nicholas has made Dinosaurs out of bionicles for them to play with in their secret hut. Tomas is doting on me, which is nice..and I am trying to stay away from them as much as possible so they do not get what I have got. I do wonder if the Flu Vax had anything to do with this one? I did, however, have some patients with a dreaded flu like illness the other week... who knows. Let's hope this one does not last too long..
Tomorrow is Mother's Day!

the flu vax... Don and most other Quadriplegics we knew never had a flu vacination as because they were totally unable to cough due to spinal damage they could not afford even the small dose of flu known to come from a flu vaccination in immune depressed people. The death rate in nursing homes skyrockets Australia wide once the flu vaccination has been given...

Flu itself carries off many immune suppressed, but Don chose to take his chances. Only one flu in 25 years...took massive Vit c doses 4,000mgs daily...only anectdotal but worked for us.
