Parent Teacher Interviews..

As my good friend Mal has discussed in his blog, it is that time of the year again where we have Parent Teacher Interviews. I marvelled at how the teachers for all my four children could collaborate and space their interviews 15 minutes apart. A dash from one room to the next was made. Yet, each interview was great. Seeing how the children are faring with their work load. The boys just needed to be a little more organised in class. Otherwise they are doing great. I have suggested each of them have a note pad to jot down "things I need to do" when they are sitting on the mat at school. That way when they get up and go to their desks they are focused on what needs doing.
The girls are also progressing nicely. Jobs well done all round...and this week brings us to the first of the school vacation times for the year 2009.

We've got another week of school here to go yet. My two younger blokes are going great at school as well... just right at their expected learning levels and all that :)

Gosh, I remember doing that as a student; it won't be long before I'm doing it as a parent!! Weird. Glad to hear the kids are doing well :) Good idea to start teaching the boys organisational tricks early on; they'll need it later!

I hate parent/teacher thingies, go to them, but dread them and am glad when they're over.

We end term one next week too, where did that go?
