My New Wheels...

We picked up the Nissan Pathfinder TI and went for a drive to Eastern Beach in Geelong. It had been sprinkling with rain which set for a balmy kind of evening.

Next day I drove the vehicle up to the Brisbane Ranges and around Anakie Gorge. The incline of the winding road was amazing!

I took these images with my mobile phone as I had forgotten my digital camera. The view was amazing atop the hill. The smell was also lovely and fresh.

There she is atop the crest of the hill :)

Is that 4 Wheel, or All Wheel Drive?
Have a Great Week-End...G

Heya Galen :)
It is classed as an SUV... The 4WD system is easily operated via a knob that allows you to go between rear-wheel-drive, four-wheel-drive and low-range, for all the really serious stuff :) whoa!

Very nice :) Looks good and practical for carting kids around :)

Foxy, yes indeed the pics worked out great I thought.

Stace, I failed to mention that the reason for the choice, among many factors, was the fact that the kids who have to sit in the back dickie seat of the station wagon had to sit like Seagulls, legs tucked under bottom! For long trips and short, the kids will be comfortable. There are curtain air bags aswell as front air bags. The curtain air bags cover either side of the full car upon side impact.

We have an Isuzu Bighorn, similar to the Holden Monterey. We still need more room, how is this one on the roomy side??

Cazzie!!! said...

Jules, we looked at all the bigger cars and this one had the most room in back. The back two seats can fold down, or you can fold just one down on it's own and still have room to place picnic stuff, an fridge that needs connection for camping (there is a connection in back). Tom and Nick have long legs now and they feel it is comfy :)

The Fairy Park on the Anakie Rd is terrific, and the winding hill road is a driver's treat in a new 4WD.
There are some big modern houses hidden in them thar hills too.
