Nicholas is 8!!!

Nicholas turned 8 years old yesterday. He had a party at Hungry Jacks with 12 of his friends in attendance. Consumption of high sugar foods resulted in the obvious loud and boistrous behaviour. Why not? It is a treat that the kids do not get allthat often in our place.

The cake, two rolled sponge cakes cut into slices, placed in a pyramid design and melted Cadbury Easter Egg on top with sprinkles on top.

Here is an update on Bondi. He has not grown much really, he has been a good dog. He is very cuddly, wait for him to purr, then realise he is a DOG. I mean, he sits on you and snuggles in, just like a cat would. He likes to attack Mia's toy horse Dusty, it is a little bigger than he is, so I guess it is threatening to him. We exchange Dusty for a small bear, after telling him short and sharply, "No". It works so far.
These are the gifts I got for Mother's Day today. A calendar, spoons with chocolate set on them so when you maka a coffee you can swirl it into the coffee, a hair brush, floating candles, a soup mug, a notebook and pen, tissues with a emery board in the cute pack, and some hard lollies. Best of all I got huggs !!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mum's out there :)

Just in motherhood for the free gifts and perks:) I am a firm believer you can never fully repay your parnts, they gave you life 18 years without board, bandaided wounds (i have a wife to do that for me now), loved and supported us. Its hard to even give part of that back.

Homo Esc, thanks mate, I did have a great relaxing day, except the fact I have to keep telling the kids to leave poor Bondi alone!!

Rebecca, cool, saves me using the gorilla all the time!!

Meredith, thanks so much, the hot tub will be tonight, when the kids are all in bed and the baby (Bondi) is asleep :)

Stace, havig Bondi is close as it gets to having a baby, I get up to him, don;t have to feed him at night, but, I do have to take him for loo stops! He cries like a bby when he is lonely, and I swear he could almost talk!

Aidan, it is true, I hope to exploit the kids for as many home made gifts and huggs before they turn an age where they may say, "Eww ahhh, I am NOT kissing you Mum" "Mum, don;t embarass meeeeeee" LOL

MJD, thanks so much, I really appreciate that, it makes me smile :)

Phishez, I did just that, there is no getting away with ot cuddling my kids, they love their huggs still.

Top Cat, thanks for the wishes, I had a great day.

JD's Rose, thanks :)

Winter's. Thanks mate :)

QOD, I know it!! The cake and the Hungry Jacks meal complete with soda..OMG!!! They all ejoyed it.

Farmwifetwo, back atcha.

Jules, lvoed your Mother's Day Post, it is such a great day isnt it?

Big Mama, all is well rght now, hope you are well also..coming over to visit you presently.

Jay Man, thankyou :)

Shelley, I will make sure Ido keep pics of Bondi on the way, he is a cutie.

surfercam, youbetchamate!!!

Spark Driver, you know, I was talking to some parents and we agree that the kids born of the year 1999 are a special lot. They are polite, thoughtful and darned smart!!! It is true. Not that my other kids aren't smart, but I notice with Nick and his friends, it is not just an age thing, it is a birth year thing... special kids?

Glad you had a good Mother's Day. Nicholas looks excited and the cake yummy. How old is Bondi?

Melly, there is just no rest for the wicked, LOL.

Poody, I know, Sarah now wants to be a vet. She is very good with Bondi, and is a gentle soul at heart.

Betty, I know, LOL, he was very excited to have all his friends. The indicator that Nick is excited..he tap dances with joy :)

Rosemary, Bondi was born on my baby's Birthday, 19th March...I just looked at his DOB on his vet certificate...Mia is very excited he is goign to share her birthday.

Is it bad that I mistakenly thought that the cake was something Bindi had eaten and digested?
It looked.... er, um... yummy?

Your son is adorable, and so is the rest of your family.
I hope you had a fantastic weekend!
