Our New Addition...

This is our new baby girl "Bindi". She is a bitsa..bitsa everything, very very cute. We will be picking her up in a few weeks, she still needs some milk from her lovely mummy dog. She has a great temperament and she smells so gorgeous, just like puppies do.

You cannot see it in the images above, but she has a little spot on her back, and that is how we know it is her amongst her siblings.

When I was a little girl, I had a dog named "Mate", he was an Australian Boarder Collie, similar to THIS one. Then, when I moved house to live with my beloved hubby, we had a puppy that didn't stay a puppy for long named AAMI, she was a Rottweiler.

Now, we will be getting Bindi, and she will be a nice medium sized dog when fully grown. I am looking forward to getting her. She will be the first dog our kids have ever owned. They are excited too.

I hope to get one of THESE when it is my birthday in December, LOL. It cracked me up when I found it. Ya gotta laugh ya know!!!!

Oh lucky you and family!
I have never chosen or waited for a dog. My dogs have always chose me. In ten years time - I am gunna choose a dog. And wait for it. I cant wait to see more!

My eldest would love a dog... but I admit it... I'm not a pet person. So he goes next door and plays with his Grandparents dog.

Hope everyone enjoys their new pet.

She's sooooo cuuuuute!!!! As much as I resent being called "girly", I can't help going utterly ga-ga over something so gorgeous!! I wish we were allowed pets in our rental unit!

Another dog day afternoon....
AAMMI..........you a crows supporter?

Cazzie!!! said...

GB, make you go ga-ga too?

Andrew, yes she is, especially when her belly is full of food and milk :)

Susan, I reckon you are right, she is darn cute!

Melly, will post pics as we get her and as she grows, don;t want to take her from her mum when she is being weaned from the teat yet :)

Farmwifetwo, yes, our kidfs have all named their grandma's dog and cats as theirs when they have to do a project at school, now they can do it on their own little Bindi :)

Alicia, glad you like her, she won't stay like that forever :(

Big Mama, definitely more pics to come.

Betty, you got your baby and I will have mine soon :)

Top Cat..is Frodo from Lord Of The Rings?? If so, way cool :)

Jules, you will certainly enjoy those breed of dog, especially if you love to walk and play sticks :) I look forward to the day you get yours and we can see on your blog.

Gawilli, me too, Cali is a cute name btw:)

Keshi, she is so soft and cuddly and smells great too :)

Andromeda, noep she cannot and I didn;t want to leave her there with her mummy but I had to. My friend is great with her dogs (they are owners of the mum and dad dog). They screened every prospective parent of their pupps to make sure they would suit them too :)

Surfercam, I wish I could say yes because your pup is sooo cute too!! When I seen it I was going to say we had a pup on order but I didn;t have pics of her yet and I hadn;t actually picked one out of the bunch at my friend's house yet.
Cool, we can watch the pupps grow together..apart!!!

Jay, I bet you spoil your mum;s baby when she is not looking too :)

Menchie, we did exactly that. Our baby is 4 now, and the rest are 6, 8 and 10yrs, so they are old enough. Thing to look for is when you are out walking, if your kids ask permission FIRST to pat a dog to the owner, then they pat if if the owner says yes, then it is time to get a puppy. Safety first.
A friend of mine has a beagle. they seem to stay pupps for the first 2 years or so, despite growing to full size before that. They need to have obedience school and need to stay active and not get nored, or they tear up your garden!! But, they are so adorable!!

Steph, ya reckon she could go into the BB07 house and be part of the programme, LOL. Cuteness plus.

Stace, you can come pat her when we get her if you like :)

The cuteness of that puppy sent my voice into one of those really high pitched squeals. I'm pretty sure that puppy heard it, somewhere int he distance.

Nah, not a Crows supporter mate. We had AAMI before you guys were even on the scene in the footy here.
She was aptly named being our Insurance..LOL, home and contents insurance!!!

Good luck with the new dog.

We just got our first dog for the kids. He's a half Golden Retriever, half Australian Shephard. Despite him chewing the crap out of everything not bolted down to the floor and him digging up the yard, he's a joy to have around.

Beefcake, you just broguht to the fore every conceivable mishap that I tried to put to the back of my mind about getting this puppy!!! PMSL..and..my Aunt said the same thing.."Lock your shoes up and get ready for a holly garden!!"

Princess, I know honey, but maybe it is calm before the storm as Beefcake points out above :( LOL.
Just like my kids, scarry when awake, cute when asleep, LOL

Enjoy your new baby. ;-)

Alicia, I keep coming back to look at her picture too!!! There ya go, and I just thought I was popular by looking at my gigacounter thingy, it is all from ME!! LOL

Biddie, we get Bindi in about 2 weeks or so. She has to have another set of injections first and she is still drinking from her mum, much to the mum's discontent!! My friend held the mum still and the pupps just ran for a boob to suck from, poor mumma dog, I know how she feels!!!

Zen Wizard, I know, I do the awww thing everytime I lok at the pictures :)

Poody, I know you know it so well with your own baby dogs :)
