Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

See this everyone..it is a sign of things to come...an iced up windscreen on a car = WINTER..Brrrrrrrrrrr. Both of our cars had thick ice over them. It is 8:33a.m. right now and it is 2.3Degrees Celcius....enough to freeze oil!!

So with this first snap of chilly weather..has anyone got advise on how to beat the coming Winter months? The kids all woke up frozen and we had to thaw them out in front of the heater. The baby woke up and snuggled in between us at 5a.m...her frozen little butt certainly woke me up in a quick second. Looks like hot water bottles will be the way to go. C'mon Summer....hurry up and get here already!!!

In addition to this here post, a 3:40 p.m. addition, my son's just got home from school. They had an out of uniform day at school today. Don't, just don't, for one itty bitty second, think that it comes free. No sireee/maaam, nothin' is free in public education anymore! In fact, they had to fork out a dollar for the priveledge of wearing and possibly shabbying their casual clothes! Then, next week they have a BBQ fday at school. Price of a sausage in bread with a dab of sauce...$1:80. Inflation hell yes it is.....just 3 years ago a snag in bread was .80cents. It is a crime!! I may just go get them fish'n'greasies for lunch and take it on down to them. I shall think about this some more later on. Oh yeah, and a can of sugar filled coca cola costs $1.20, robbery I say.

Further news has just reached home with the 9yr old giving me a new note from school...snags in bread are now $2..yes $2 EACH seems like a crime to me.

The good old days..

Here's a pic of me when I was 16, yes, those were the days my friend, We thought they'd never end, We'd sing and dance forever and a day, We'd live the life we choose, We'd fight and never lose, For we were young and sure to have our way.La la la la...Those were the days, oh yes those were the days.....
Excuse me for breaking into song there, hope it didn't make you all feel too sad.
This was a Weapons Training camp I was on over the mid year school hollidays. I was the first of 2 females that were allowed to conduct the Weapons Training Course. It was hard yakka, we had to pass the competency of safety before the second last day of camp before we were even allowed to shoot blanks from the rifle at hand. That Rifle being the 7.62mm Self Loading Rifle..to even nick name your rifle as "Gun"(as I did!) was not the done thing...50 push ups later and I just knew I had to change my line of thinking!
The officer in charge of us was a Vietnam Vet, not too happy realy to have any females on his camp, so he made us work harder than the guys. In the end we all seemed to get along so well that he let me have a shot at his 9mm hand pistol, I have to say it had quite a little kick in it, and I was way off target in the shooting with it. I didn't do too badly at the 7.62 target shoot. It may have something to do with my growing up out in the sticks and having a go at target practice along side my dad. He had a couple of shottys and gave my brother and I our own Air Rifles once he was happy we were competent saftey wise and all.
I will post a pic of me having a taxi of my friends' dads' aircraft another day, I did an oil on canvas painting of it after the event, it was enjoyable and I wouldn't mind going and obtaining my pilots licence one day..when I win the big one from George Tattersalls that is!

M&M's.....

Look, I know you look at these here chocolate delights and says, "Hmmm, they are m&m's aren't they? Well, I can tell you they arent just m&m's...hell...they are bargaining chips!! It goes like this...I have the children to look after by my own self alot..and they sometimes..not all the time...play up for me. Now..when I work at the weekends, Andrew looks after them and when I get home I say, "Were the kids good for you?"...the usual reply.."They are always good for me!"
But..now the secret is out. There's a big tub of m&m's and to get them to be quiet or good, Andrew tells the kids to do just that..only that they will get in return an m&m..or two!! When she goes to eat an m&m she doesn't just put one in her mouth, NOOOOO MAAAAM, she puts a whole gob full in there, so much so that the color of the m&m's spews out the sides and dribbles down her mouth, ever so slowly. Oh my, I couldn't have spawned such a child could have I?
To top the evening here off, she starts singing a song, "I got boobies, I got a belly button, I got a Penis hole" to the tune of Twinkle little star. Far out, so what am I to do? Her songs are as great as Miss O's on Crabbydad's blog, although I am not sure which song makes you laugh harder. Miss O has got it goin' down though I have to say. Laughing is like music, a universal language. I wonder then, I just wonder, what would yawning be classed as..you know..when you yawn even if you cannot see the other person yawning perhaps on the phone even..you yawn when they do...that's catching too isn't it.
Oh brother....I am tired, two morning shifts at work and I'm down for the count. Time to watch a big brother eviction now and hope that I don't get evicted this week from Big Blogger. Cheers Cazzie!!!

A funny story......

Last night the Matilda's and the Socceroo's kicked butt in the Soccer here in Melbourne..way to go girls and guys!!! You made our nation proud. We sang the national anthem in full voice....all 6 of us here in our lounge room, with the flags a waving and everything. Still, it'd have been more exciting if Greece had scored a goal at least in the Aussie vs Greece match. Great defence we have in our team.
Andrew had a phone interview to conduct last night. Actualy, it was supposed to be at 1:30pm, which is an ideal time because none of the rug rats are home on a Thursday at that time..and as Bert said..and he got THAT right....the kids just know the exact time to stuff it all up when you are on the phone..even if it meant they HAD been great ALL DAY LONG!! So, the girl called and stated that the phone interview time had changed to 5:30pm...OMG, wrong time, I mean, if you don't have kids you may not know it but they turn to gremlins when it is about 5pm....TEA TIME..or feeding time at the Zoo!
This required some or actualy, very little thought on our part. There was nothing more to do than take them out away from the place when the call was going to come on in. I took them to the golden arches restaurant(McDonalds) for dinner. So sad because I had some awesome chicken breast schnitzels to cook for tea, along side some nice veggies aswell. I cooked Andrew his tea and left it there for him to eat. While it was cooking, the kids were saying, "Muuuuum, I'm hungry!" and rubbing their tummies profusely.
So, at 5:15pm I took the lot of them over to Maccas for a play and some high sugar, high starch and high fat food...oh..and the most important thing of all...the toy with the Happy Meal! They were wrapt to be there, as we don't buy them Maccas very often.
I stood in line to order their meals and they filed out to play on the equipment there. No sooner had they gone out than they came back in the store complaining, "Muuuum, there's dog shit or something realy gross out there on the slide!!". I told the store manager. As I was already being served I sat the kids down to eat. To my amazement, the two young girls who were sent out to clean up the mess in the play area were seen to be head scratching and then LOCKING the door.
It seems that Thursday's are the busy day at Maccas. Alot of people get paid Thursdays so I guess that may be the reason. So heaps of kids were coming in, going to the play area whilst their parents lined up to order their "Oh so nutritious food", only to find their kids running back inside to them.
My kids took it upon themselves to be the cops here and said, "There's gross poo out there and you can't play!" By this time other parents were cracking it because they forked out heaps of cash for Maccas and their kids couldn't play. Meanwhile, Andrew calls to say its a safe zone to come home now. I told ther of the situation and she said, "Don't you dare come home without taking this up with the manager. You took the kids there to play and they should compensate you with a voucher or something because they are too slack to clean the play area". "I can't do that", I said. "Grow some balls "he said. PMSL.
So I told one of the mums next to me and we both approached the manager...he promptly ordered one of the girls to go fix the mess. So she did, poor girl. I agree that being paid such a low rate per hour doesn't justify her having to deal with this ..errrr shit! But, maybe they should patrol the play area a bit better and of course....the parents of the kid that did it in the first place outta have a serious attitude adjustment!!
Upon returning home Andrew said he had got an interview out of the phone call so that is such a bonus.

Balls and all....

I have started going on about Soccer..cannot call it football or footy no matter how hard I try..sorry to dissapoint you Ace. I was dragged up through footy with my mum following Geelong. We would get up at the crack of Dawn and go on down to the city of Geelong to meet with the crazy Cat's cheersquad and decorate the player's dressing room prior to the match. We were there so early each Saturday that I don't think the players would even have risen as yet.
I used to get out on the field and help them all hold up the race (or run through) for the players to come and mess it all up. I thought it was stupid. We spend all of our time on a Wednesday night making a piece of art and all for what? For the players to destroy it. Alas, my Unlce saw to it that a picture or 500 of them was taken of the race and placed in a photo album.
Then, when I was about 10 years old my mum cracked it at something and it made her move teams..she followed my Uncle to the support the footy team Carlton "Blues". It was the good old days of Alex Jezza and Bruce Doull. Since then I "married into" the Richmond "Tigers" and that's where I am staying!
I have always been a lover of soccer, having played all the years of my Primary Schooling, then I moved onto Volleyball in High School and in inter flight sports in Air Cadets. Here's wishing I had stayed playing it....I could have had a body like the chix that play Beach Volleyball then!!
So the big game is drawing near here in Melbourne....Aussies against the Greeks..have to say it is a weird feeling, as I believe we have more Greeks here than Greece does in well....Greece!! So it will be a "kind" war against each other when the game finaly begins.
But, let's not forget that the Matilda's are playing their game prior to the main game, so do your best girls and defend our goals....and kick some ass!!!

Where I been today.....

Today was a busy day. Got up fed the herd breakfast then followed the school bus with my car and Miss 3yr old to the Melbourne Acquarium. Was a wonderful time I have to say. We got to touch and feel the coral and some star fishes and a Port Jackson Shark Egg. Murray the cod was ace too, he followed the guides hand from one end of the exhibit to the other..chasing his hand away rather that wanting to eat it! The jelly fish were my favourite of all in the whole exhibit. There were some that went fluorescent in the light they have put in the exhibit. Got to ask questions to a bloke in scuba gear who was in the main tank. He answered every question realy well..including the one when a grade 1 child asked...do sharks ever attack you when you are in the tank? He said they do, they attack the scuba dive tank and your head if theyre hungry so they put on helmets from now on when they are in to clean or maintain or check out the fishes.
I have made Nick an outfit for tomorrow too. He has to go to school and be in a parade as his favourite sea animal, so the outfit is that of The Great White Shark!!! I don't think I did too bad with the outfit realy, but I could have done better if I had a sewing machine!!! And if Nick chose to be a jelly fish or a deep sea squid it would have been easier for me aswell.
I took Mia on a tram or two and we went out to see the city of Melbourne. She loved the tram that was covered in deco of the fav drink fo the moment..zero coke. We looked at motorbikes on Elizabeth Street, Mia liked the black Harley Davidson she spotted there..nice taste I have to say!
I took her into my work to visit a nice patient of mine, I gave her my shampoo and conditioner that I used when I lost all my hair last year after a period of illness (termed Telogen Effluvian). She was very greatful and I also bought her a nice beanie to keep her feeling great. She loved seeing my Mia and Mia entertained her for the duration of our visit, I am proud she did not play up at all.
So now I am way past the time I shoulda hit the sack..phew..it all begins tomorrow in the morning again :)
Oh yeah...in addition to this post...I was walking past the Catholic Bookshop in town and to my amazement, they were selling and had a massive display..you guessed it.."The DaVinic Code" Book and other things to do with the movie and said title. I guess they complain like hell about the novel and the flick but don't mind taking the proceeds that the sale of it will bring into their already phenomenal bank account...Amen!

DA Vinci Code.the movie

We went to see the DA Vinci Code flick yesterday and I have to say I enjoyed it alot. I read the book last year, in November and I like the code type stories and puzzles to solve. It is the only movie I have seen lately that has no swearing or sex scenes in it..except the word s*it in French....which if you cannot read or understand French then you won't know anyhow..and in which case if you can't read then you wouldn't be reading this blog!
Full of action and marvelous art works..that's my scene...I love art.
I did creative arts and general arts as subjects alongside the ususal English, Maths a and b, Science, Chemistry and Physics to get into nursing. So art is up my alley!! My favourite works are by Victor Gilbert: An Elegant Soiree. I have this very piece of art in my lounge room, I just love it!!
Cheers Cazzie!!!

The cook.....

This is what I had to eat after my solid walk this morning!!! I have to say that it was THE BEST BOSTON BUN I have EVER tasted.....and I mean ever!! I had that and a glass of milk for lunch, some fruit for afternoon tea and just some soup at tea time tonight. I AM hoping that this means I will still shed the kg's that I want to loose..but geez it was worth every small bite I savoured.
I have to say that this is not the actual bun, neither is that her kitchen..indeed..with my daughter's slave labor the kitchen will surely be set for being declared a state of disaster. LOL.
In their defence I must say that my girls did a splendid job of mixing up a cake batter tonight, and then spooning it into the patty cake pans..then eating the remainder of the mix too (always the best part!!)
Cheers Cazzie!!!

WEATHER TO OR NOT...

It is a sad day here in Melbourne to see that, well, actually, to hear it first on 3AW Radio Station that a very public figure to which my kids adore has been discovered to have had an extra marital affair. One of his main reasons was that "The girls were desperate for money"...and that "No they weren't prostitutes"...yeah right..it only cost him $1000 a week for the last fling.
I'm talking about Rex Hunt. My boys idolise him because he is Richmond..Tigerland. He is the man we listen to for fishing tips and so on. My son Tom got a signed autograph and a picture taken together and even had a chat on radio together!!
My boys can read but I dare not show them the front page of every newspaper today and dare not let them watch the news tonight. I am ashamed...so ashamed for his lovely wife. Incidentaly, she has bi-polar and has battled breast cancer so this all has to be a real prick (excuse the French) of a time for her. Not to mention they have a son and daughter from their 30 odd year marriage together. People may say, "Oh, but the kids are now adults" SO WHAT I say, he is still their Dad and she is still their Mum and those women who made cash out of him are tarts and that is it! I bet they take their stories to the trash magazines to make more money too, if they were as desperate as Rex says they were.
He takes us all for fools..and he is an ex policeman for goodness sake. Look, I know the world ain't perfect..and my life aint perfect, in fact, it is pretty darn exciting with the last few years developments. These developments have made our homelife complicated, yet exciting and overwhelming all at the same time. But, nowhere in our journey have we ever strayed..and I tell you, from this story I have learned..if I am going to even think of having a fling then Andrew won't have to look on my moblie phone to find a person under the word "WEATHER" as Rex had categorised his chick. How awful for his wife to have found out in this way. The worst bit is that her name for him was Uncle..yukk, how bloody young was she then? I know he is getting on in age and all but to call him Uncle, hmmm.
To think we went to his D'Lish Fish Restaurant for Good Friday, at least we know the money raised went to the Royal Children's Hospital and not to his floosey..

Baby Sister's Rule!!!

This morning when I came back from school I began to tidy up the lounge room..in preparation for the big vacuum to go ahead. Little Miss 3 yr old grabbed it off em and said she wanted to vacuum, no problems!! Now, when she finished the job, and I have to say she did an excellent one at that, I said to her, "You know it will be messed up when the boys and Sarah get home later today". She said, "No it won't, I will say, "Don't you mess up my clean lounge room or esle!"(Sticking her finger up in the air, thank Goodness it is the wrong finger and not the middle finger!!)
So there you have it, she is the strongest member of the family, she cripples her brothers with one blow to the gut and takes Tom down to the floor with a wrestle, she is our very own answer to a female Hulk Hogan realy. When she grows up she wants to be..a big boy!! That's what she said, will just have to wait and see I guess, although right now we have My Little Pony on TV so she may be just all talk.
Can't wait to see what happens later today, my words fall on deaf ears but Mia..well...Mia has the last word all the time being the baby.

What to do?

I got this problem..you see, with 4 kids in the house and 2 adults the place just never ever looks tidy. Sure, I do the housework every day without fail, but alas, it still looks trashed. Hurricane Mia is always on the loose, Sarah has her bears out and cannot ever just take one out, it has to be the whole collection. Not to mention the numerous Cows she has too. Nick has his Bionicles out all the time which is great for his fine motor skills and all but crap for your feet when you are lurking around silently at night to check on the kids and then you stand on one!! Bit hard to refreign from swearing then and making oath that you WILL chuck the lot of them in the bin come morning!! Tom has his Yugio cards sprawled everywhere too.
The lounge room is the place where clothes are set up for the next day, and where the next day, pj's are sprawled over the settee all day until bath time. Well, not all day, just until I fold them and place them on the kids' beds.
My pet hate is when wet towels are placed on the floor or on the bed..yuk..hate IT!
I get embarrased when people don't warn me they are coming. I have to check the loos are clean and that Miss 3 yr old has not put all the loo paper in there at once.
I guess I need to come to terms with the fact that the house is LIVED IN.. not a display home from some magazine. That it won't always be tidy but it will always be clean and that it is ok for visitors to come along un announced, they just gotta look before walking or sitting anywhere.

Mother's Day Gifts!!

Today I got some great gifts from the kids.
Mr T got me a bath bomb, rose scented, and a green bag, useful for next Summer at the beach. If you cannot see the bag properly then feel free to click to enlarge, LOL.
Nick got me a coffee cup with chocolates in it, yumm! And an Impatience plant that was in dire need of a drink of H20!
Sarah made me some soaps of different colors and scents.
Mia (pictured above as the Angel she CAN be) planted and grew some herbs for me at her creche.
And my lovely husband gave me a card with some sweet words in it too!!
Whilst I was in the shower, Miss Mia decided she would play hairdressers to Sarah. She got a chair, dragged it to the bench, located the scissors, went into Sarah and began to chop away at her lovely curly blonde locks of hair. All my babies were born "bald as a badger" whatever that means!! So Sarah's hair is just at bob length now, in all her life this is just how long it is and Mia kinda wrecked the look. She knew she was in the poop when I walked into the lounge room as she ran for cover to her bedroom. There she stayed for a long time!!
Good thing is, I can cover the cut hair up with doing a small half pony tail everyday. Probably take ages to grow though. She starts school next year so I was hoping it could get to a length where I can put it in one nice ponytail for her. I am LOL at it all now. I think Sarah thought Mia had the blunt playdough scissors.

My little 7 year old man...

Today is a very special day, my second born is now 7 years old. He was born at 6:20a.m. 12th May 1999. When he was born there was such a pause in time it seemed..between his birth and the nurses handing him to me...I was unaware at the time that he was being resusitated right then and there...part of the reason was because I had sucked the gas cylinder off the wall just prior to his head crowning. He was so cold all day long after his birth, I hugged him close to my body for warmth and wrapt him in lots of blankets too.
When they handed my baby to me I looked down and there he was..baby Nicholas...a brother for young Tomas to play with. As a gift I got a Mr Bean Bear for Mr T from the new baby.. he cherishes it to this day.
When Nick was an hour old I was asked by my friends who are staff there at the hospital if I wouldn't mind moving to a shared room as there were 12 births the night Nick was born and they needed a LDR (Labor Delivery Recovery) Room for any perspective mum's coming in the door. As it was my 2nd baby I didn't mind. I could help the other mum's with their breastfeeding anyhow.
My, 7 years has gone by so darn fast..I have to remember this because when things seem so hard at times I just know that it is only for that little while..and that the little people we bought into the world aren't going to be little for very long. I just hope they keep on hugging me and giving me kisses on the cheek..yet not giving me cheek either, LOL!!

My girls are now Aunties!!!

My girls claimed a mare in foal to be their "Mummy Horse" and as my youngest daughter and I were driving by to go visit my best friend Frances we noticed that there was an addition in the paddock..the new baby foal, it has to be 2 days old at the most. We are stoked about it!! Will try to get better picks of it this morning, I couldn't get any closer than this yesterday. If you click on the picture it will enlarge it and you will just see the cutey :)

My best friend Frances..

A year ago today my best friend lost her battle with GBM, Glioblastoma Multiforme, its as much of an arsehole as cancer can be, it is very aggressive and strikes you down no matter what your gender, job, or lifestyle is.
My friend was convinced it got her because she was too much of a thinker from a very young age, she was a graduate of many a University course from the USA. Frances grew up in the lovely seaside town of Carmel, California. Eventualy Frances moved to teach at the International School of Kuala Lumpur.. employed as the head Librarian and English teacher there . Then she moved to Australia which is where I met her. We got along like a house on fire from word GO. Four months later she was diagnosed with GBM after having passed out and becoming forgetful and getting intense headaches too. She was nursed for most of the time at the hospital I work at. It was great to be able to see her alot, during my breaks and after work too. Then she moved to a palliative care facility.
She had a 16 month, which is longer than usual, battle with the disease. She passed away just shy of her 48th Birthday. The world is not a better place at all from having lost her as she contributed so much to everyone in her life. She still had more to give aswell. It is what pisses me off when people moan about their life situation wehn they are actualy quite healthy and DO have an option as to what their future holds. Frances had no choice, yet one choice she made was to not be bitter, to take each day as it came.
For me, memories are the greatest gift I have in life.. of her. So Frances, I think of you every day and I will be coming over to give you the first lilly that decided to come up in my garden for the season. Just as it did last year on this day. "Laugh, Live and Love", cannot do better than that..oh yes, and of course EAT, LOL. Franny loved her food, just have to sample everything there is out there.
Love ya chicken!! Cazzie

Honky Tonk Woman!!!

Yesterday we went to see MI3 at the flicks, I was wrapt since we havent been out together since January without any sproutlings trailing behind..and we didnt have to share our pop corn with them either (and get the wet sucked centre of the pop corn that has been put back into the box too!)..or the maltesers either. I have to say I loved the movie with all its high tech special affects and all.
Have to say I was so darn tired when we emerged from the movies at around 7p.m., I had been awake all night the night before and got up for work at 5:45a.m...I guess it would be time to vhange my blog name to "I do do mornings!" or "Crazy Mumma" something like that. Or perhaps "Honky Tonk Woman", my favourite Rolling Stones song.
We will see..
Cheers Cazzie!!!

Beasts of burden...

Here's a picture of two of the horses my girls and I fed carrots to yesterday. This picture is deceiving as the white horse here is absolutely massive...I know it isn't saying much, but he is taller than me...now...you gotta understand that I AM verticaly challenged to begin with. He was the first one that approached us out of the 7 of them in the paddock. He is like THE BOSS horse, well, that's what my girls named him anyhow. He came up, we offered him our closed hand and a carrot, glad to say he ate the carrot not our hand, LOL. I taught my girls how to approach these lovely animals. They did not want to leave. Tomorrow we go there with a BIG bag of carrots.
I used to have a horse when I was younger, called Mabel, I didnt name her, she was an old mare when my dad got her for me. I would love another horse but I just know the expenses of having one these days.

I just had to post this here picture...these felines look soooooo coool!!! Must have drugged the pussies up or somethin' to get them to lay like this. LOL!!!

Cheers Cazzie!!!

Tattoo in another language?

Is it a good idea to get your own name tatooed on your body? Well, what about in another language if not in English..how about Hebrew? That's my name in Hebrew...seems wierd but I like it!! I am a gutless chick though, so I doubt I would ever do it. I know..I know, I hear ya'll saying..but you gave birth to 4 Earthlings and all that...yeah, well, the pain was temporary..now they just a pain in the ass!! LOL Although, reviewing it all, the 1st born did take a mere 30 odd hours plus of pain.
Back to that tatt, I think it is a bad idea...what if it realy meant a swear word and not my name? How would I know? What if I got bashed because it meant some bad thing about someone's mother?
On a more serious note, the blokes stuck down in the mine in Tasmania (refer to yesterdays blog here) are still down there, apparently in good spirits. I darn hope they get that drill a working SOON. Glad to hear they have flown Stuart Diver, the guy that was trapped at Thredbo 9 yrs ago beneath the snow for some words of encouragement. Man, it would be so tough being down there. Perhaps it is, in an ironic way, a good thing that they are together, because they may be able to keep each others' spirits bouyant.

Underwears and things...

Right now I am chanelling all my left over positive energy to the men trapped 1 kilometre below the earth there in Beaconsfield, Tasmania. Three miners were trapped after a rock slide occured there last Tuesday night. One body has been retrieved, two remain trapped.
When I first heard of it I immediately thought of my cousin's hubby who is a "powder monkey" for a mining company. He goes from state to state where required to do his thang. My cousin is due to have their 5th..yes..I said 5th..baby next month. Alas it is not him, phew..
Still, it means that two families and indeed a whole community are sitting at the mine just now. They received great news last evening that a microphone was placed down the mine and that the two remaining blokes are indeed alive. They have just gotta be so resilient to last without supplies for this long. I got so damned emotional when I turned on the TV and saw the families rushing to the mine site there..apparently people ran like warp speed to the wives' houses and ran through the house dragging them all to the mine saying, "They're alive!" One of the children was on her bed bawling her eyes out at the time so it must be so damn difficult right now.
So, at the moment, they are trying to figure out what they are going to do to tunnel carefuly 1km to these blokes. I am tunneling the last bit of energy I have...after such a trying two days at work this past weeekend...to the minds that are going to figure out what they are going to do..and to the miners that are trapped.
I know they are paid a lot, and they know the risks of the job all too well..but it is my worst fear being trapped somewhere, what a terrible thing to happen.
On a lighter note, and because this is NOT The Herald Sun Newspaper who only seemed to report doom and gloom over the weekend (except the fact that my beloved Tigers won in AFL!), I have something very funny to share.
One of my friends went to a M.A.S.H night at a Melbourne night club. It has been going for as long as I can remember. Nurses, doctors, ambo's, firemen and women and the like go to this night out. Anyhow, this guy approaches my friend and says, "So, what do you do for work?" She stated she was a nurse,..he says, "Oh yeah..well..I'm an underwear model". She didn't know where to look. Afterwards on their way home, my friends were all talking and it was discovered he had used this line with some of the other nurses too..only..he is actualy an IT guy. They are all still pissin themselves laughing....afterall, nurses get to see everything and whilst an underwear model would be an ace job, no doubt, we usualy go for people that actualy have a personality!! I have to say, the pick up line was original though, so he mustn't be all that boring must he?
Cheers Cazzie!!!
